The Purpose of Knowledge is To Implement

We live in a time of knowledge. there is such an availability of knowledge.there are seminars, training, halqah.. majelis ta'lim.. schools, youtube videos, there is so much that is out there, and the average muslim now has access to so much knowledge. however there is one thing that is desperately missing from us. IMPLEMENTATION

The implementation of that knowledge.. tathbiiq.. putting the knowledge in to practice, we have become knowledge junkies, we are just desperate to gain more knowledge and learn more and more..

But we don't implement any of that knowledge, or we don't implement a lot of that knowledge

Often times we hear someone attend a lecture.. or attend a talk.. and they are said that lecture was great but...  most of the stuff i had heard before, i didn't really learn anything new.. Masya Allah..  how much of that did you actually implement? where is the implementation of that knowledge?

Even when it comes to the Quran.. 

Did u know that most of the companions Did Not have the Quran memorized

in our time we have this rush to just become a Hafiz. but where is the implementation of that Quran?

Umar RA, He says about himself, he says it took me 12 years to memorize surah alBaqarah, which now average hafidz within months they can memorize surah albaqarah, when Umar RA said it took me 12 years to memorize surah alBaqarah..WHY? He said because i would not pass by a single ayah, i would not memorize a single ayah, except i would implemented into my life...
